RBMS Hybrid
LIMITED TIME ONLY
Central to the manufacturing of aluminum aircraft structures is the requirement to BOND the components together, as well as install mechanical fasteners. No single operation is more important to metal bonding than the preparation of the adherent surfaces. As part of ACT’s RBMS Hybrid training, you will gain hands-on experience that will help you master the basics of metal bonding, most common practices and materials that are used in metal-to-metal and metal-to-composite bonding operations.
Description:
This hybrid course is a combination of the theory and best practices of the essential materials, techniques, and processes involved in the preparation and repair of bonded metal structures.
Hands-on projects involve the use of PASA, PANTA, PACS, BoeGel, and other metal treatment processes for skin and core replacement. Extensive training on state-of-the-art Hot Bonding equipment is included.
More covered in this 5-day course include:
The combination of hot bonding to compensate for heat sink techniques
The use of modern metal treatment methods to protect the bonding.
A full repair exercise on a bonded metal aircraft structure will be completed during this course.
Prerequisites: Previous experience in metal working is required.
